Green Scholarship Program

The Patricia Pratt Foundation continues its partnership with the Green Scholarship Program (GSP), Spanish: Programa de Becas Green (PBG), in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to support youth in their education. The mission of the GSP is to “help youth achieve their dreams.”

Supporting the Next Generation of Leaders
The GSP is much more than a scholarship. The youth receive comprehensive support that offers a full scholarship for their three-to-four-year university career in one of four recognized universities in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. This initiative goes far beyond a simple scholarship by offering students a comprehensive support system for their entire university journey.

For three to four years, students receive a full scholarship to attend one of four recognized universities in the Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo area. With tuition covered, students can focus on their studies. They also benefit from a range of other program components, including:

  • English classes
  • Books and materials
  • Life skills seminars
  • Transportation
  • Other support components

The program offers a comprehensive approach that seeks to create leaders in all our graduates.

"I gained valuable knowledge in areas such as emotional management, time management, and how to create a professional résumé—which I later used to secure my first job. I was also supported in finding internships that gave me the opportunity to explore different fields."

"The scholarship changed my life—it helped me achieve my dream of studying Marine Biology and eased the financial challenges I would have faced, as I had planned to study and work at the same time. Thanks to GSP, I was able to focus fully on my degree and complete it on time, even graduating with honors. In addition, GSP provided me with valuable tools through seminars and English classes, and I had the opportunity to meet wonderful, supportive people. With GSP, I always felt part of a caring community that encouraged me to continue pursuing my dreams."
